At Bucks County Arts and Dance we offer structured but fun classes in both the visual and performing arts. Our highly qualified and experienced instructors strive to allow our students to learn and grow while instilling in them a love of the arts.

Instructors
Miss Dana
Miss Dana is a graduate of the University of the Arts. She holds a BFA in Dance education with a concentration in Ballet. Dancing since the age of three, she has studied everything from ballet to hip hop, including jazz and tap. While in high school she competed and placed highly in dance competitions in both group and solo divisions. In college, Dana had the opportunity to study with renowned teachers such as Fernando Bujones, Andrew Pap, and Eva Szabo: and performed in Ballets such as Swan Lake and Napoli. With a desire to pass her love of dance onto future generations, Dana has been teaching dance full time since high school. |
Miss Terry
Miss Terry is an Art teacher for grades K-8 at a private elementary school in Glenside. She has a BS in Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Temple University. When not in the classroom, she runs an aftercare program for elementary students, teaches a variety of arts and crafts classes for children of all ages including those with special needs and organizes and conducts children’s birthday parties. She is also the art director for a drama workshop for grade school children. During the summer, Miss Terry is the Art Coordinator for a summer dance camp for three to twelve year old children. Miss Terry has spent many years in the child care profession as a teacher, volunteer, and a mother. |
Miss Brianna
Miss Brianna has been dancing since the age of three. She was trained at the L.A. Dance Theatre taking part in recitals, competitions and an annual Nutcracker Production. While receiving her Bachelors of Architecture from Marywood University, she was a member of Dance Elan, a pre-professional dance company. Upon graduation, Brianna moved to London, UK to pursue her Masters and continued her love for dancing as a member of the Union College of London Dance Society and Competitive Team. Throughout her dance years, Brianna has enjoyed the opportunities in competing, performing, choreographing and teaching. |
Miss Jamie
Miss Jamie was born in Philadelphia and moved to Quakertown where she began dancing at age 2. She graduated from DeSales University with a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology. She was a member of her high school and community college dance teams. She has 10 years of teaching experience working with all ages in many different styles such as jazz, tap, ballet, and modern. She is excited to become an instructor at BCAD where she can share her experience and love of dance. |
Miss Alana
Miss Alana’s favorite styles of dance are Ballet, Jazz, Acro, Lyrical, and Contemporary. She has been dancing since elementary school but decided to take it seriously as a career in high school. Though Miss Alana felt she was too busy to compete, she still found time to fit her passion for dance into her daily schedules! Miss Alana attended the Academy of the New Church Girls School and graduated in 2020. She was a part of various theatre productions and was a member of the ANC dance team all four years of high school. There, she learned various techniques of Ballet/ Pointe, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Modern, Tap, Hip-Hop, and a little Ballroom. She attends Bryn Athyn College, and plans to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Dance and Education by Spring of 2024. Miss Alana is very grateful for BCAD allowing her to share her love for dance in a fun and motivating way! |
Miss Heather
Miss Heather has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She grew up taking dance classes: ballet, modern, jazz, lyrical and tap to name a few. She participated in dance competitions, competing in small groups and solos, winning various awards. She joined a pre professional ballet company and Neoteric Modern Company in high school. In college she continued to dance and was a member of the Cabrini College Dance Team. Not only does Miss Heather have extensive experience teaching dance but she is also a third grade teacher and mother of 3. She is excited to challenge her dancers to reach their full potential. |
Miss Cristina
Miss Cristina was born in NY and started dancing at age 2. She has done all styles of dance and competed nationally for 6 years in Lyrical, Modern, Jazz and Tap as both a soloist and as part of a dance team. She went to Manhattan College, where she was a member of their Division 1 dance team, the Jasper Dancers. Fun fact - she also took master dance classes with some of NYC’s famous Rockettes at Steps on Broadway! Over the years, she has been a teacher at various studios in Minneapolis and Pittsburgh. Most recently she was the coach of a competitive cheer team. She is a busy mom of 3 daughters and works full time as the Global Head of Shopper Excellence for Mondelez. Dance has always been her passion though, and she is beyond excited to be back in the studio inspiring the next generation of dancers. |
Miss Francesca
Miss Francesca is a 22 year old dancer from Bucks County. Growing up in competitive dance, she has continued into a professional dance career. She is also pursuing her Bachelors degree in Psychology at Drexel University. She has trained in many styles of dance, including ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, jazz, hip hop, and acrobatics. She currently trains in various commercial styles at Academy of Phresh, based in Philadelphia. There she has trained with many industry-leading choreographers and performers, competed, and participated in performances and conventions across the east coast. Her goal is to share her knowledge and education with the next generation of dancers who want to pursue a dance career! |
Tuition
- Tuition is due on the first class of the month
- Tuition and fees are non-refundable
- Tuition is based on an annual fee, not classes per month
- Tuition not received by the 15th of the month will incur a late fee of $15
- Tuition can be paid monthly, in 3 month installments, or in full. Payments made in 3 month installments or in full will receive a 10% discount
- Please notify BCAD in writing when withdrawing from class
- Tuition payment is to be made by check or cash
